Visa Reform

One of the greatest challenges facing the technology industry is the lack of available skilled talent. This problem has reached crisis levels for many firms, forcing them to choose between losing their competitive edge or moving work outside the United States to find the talent they need.

Congress should permanently fix the broken visa system for highly educated foreign professionals, by legislating:
1) a market-based H-1B Visa cap;
2) a streamlined EB green card process;
3) the end of arbitrary obstacle to employment and permanent residency for foreign-based master's and Ph.D graduates from U.S. universities.
