profile will be included in the Venture Conference program guide. As such,
we encourage you to complete the profile after thoughtfully evaluating both
your company's strengths as well as weaknesses.
We have prepared a sample profile to assist you in completing your own. In
developing your company profile, we encourage you to follow this format. The
primary objective is for the reader to obtain a clear understanding of your
company in a thorough but brief review of the summary. In preparing the
profile, please consider the following areas:
Business
Description/Company Background: Be brief but thorough in the overall
description and background of the company. Products/Services/Technology:
Without being overly technical, describe your technology in "layman's"
terms. Describe
your primary products or services. Management
Team: List
key members of the team and briefly describe their
backgrounds. Markets/Distribution
Channels: Describe
your marketing plan/strategies.
Competition:
Know the competition -- your sound understanding of the marketplace is
essential. Achievements:
What are those milestones accomplished to date which make your situation
interesting? Has
a prototype been developed?
Has initial stage financing been completed?
Have any strategic alliances been developed? Please
